Why am I being asked to provide my card information after I have paid?

We require some guests to send a copy of their ID and the Credit Card used for the transaction because there are known cases of fraudsters using stolen credit cards to make unauthorized purchases.  We have been advised by authorities to verify everyone's identity to reduce this type of fraud and abuse. In cases in which the requested documents are not sufficient for us to verify your identity, we will ask for your credit card details again so we can contact the credit card issuing bank to verify that the charge was authorized by the cardholder.
