What shall I do if a property I confirmed availability for is no longer available?

For Express Bookings after the Host has accepted the Booking request, any cancellation will be subject to a "Host Cancellation Policy" For more details please click here

You can view these inquiries under the "Outstanding Inquiries" tab. As long as the inquiry is not yet paid by the guest, hosts can still decline the inquiry.

For paid or "Booked" inquiries, any cancellation request from the host is subject to the cancellation policy of Roomorama. For more information regarding cancellations, please click on this link:  How do I cancel a confirmed/paid booking?

To decline an inquiry, sign in to your Roomorama account and select "Host Dashboard" from the username menu. From the "Host Dashboard"click on the “Outstanding” tab. This tab will contain all Pending or Available inquiries.  Select the specific inquiry and click on the message to open. After this step, you will be able to view the Inquiry Summary page.

On the Inquiry Summary page, click on "Decline"

After your click on "Decline", another window will pop-up to reconfirm your cancellation request. As courtesy, kindly inform your guest the reason why you're declining the inquiry. Feel free to choose from the list of options available and click the "Mark as Unavailable" button to finalize.

If you select, “My property is unavailable for these dates” option, Roomorama will automatically block the dates in your availability calendar and mark them as unavailable.

From the Host Dashboard page, your can view your declined inquiries under the "Declined" tab. The guest will also be notified regarding the inquiry status.

TIP: For host with multiple property listings, you may also use the "Suggest Alternatives" option. This option allows you to suggest another property as an alternative if the current property becomes unavailable. For more steps on how to use "Suggest Alternatives", please click on this link:  Is there a way for me to suggest alternative properties for the inquiries I receive?
