For different seasons, can I set a different minimum stay or check-in/out restrictions?

Hosts can now setup their minimum stay restrictions per period or season! This is applicable for host with a minimum stay policies during certain dates such as peak seasons. By doing this, the website will automatically honor your minimum stay restrictions depending on the availability information on your property listings. 

Below are the steps to update your listings.

Sign in to your Roomorama account and select "Manage Properties" from the username menu.
 
Select the property that you would like to edit and then click on "Calendar"You use this function to view and edit your Availability Calendar. 




For scenarios on setting a Minimum Stay restrictions, you can use the "Minimum Stay Duration".

For example:  You want to set December 10 to December 31 as a minimum of 5 days stay due to the holidays.

Scroll down to the Availability Calendar and select the specific period. Click on the start date and click on the end date in your calendar. The system will highlight the dates in yellow and another window will pop-up to confirm the new room availability.




Review the selected dates.  On the "This room is" section select "Available". Under the "Min.Stay (nights)", you can select any number from "1 - 180" since you're setting a minimum stay of those days for this period. To save the new information, simply click on"Update"



Once the minimum nights stay is set through the calendar, any date that has a minimum stay duration that is different from the property default will have a red dot beside the date, and a pop-up will come-up when the cursor is hovered over the date.



For scenarios on setting a Check in or Check out restrictions, you can use the "Can Check in" and "Can Check Out" feature. 

For example:  You want to set a check-out restriction for December 24 to 25. 

Scroll down to the Availability Calendar and select the specific dates. Make sure that the selected dates are showing as available in your calendar. Click on the start date and click on the end date in your calendar. The system will highlight the dates in yellow and another window will pop-up to confirm the new room availability.

Review the selected dates. On the "This room is" section select "Available". To set a check out restriction uncheck "Can Check Out". Remember to select or check "Can Check In" since you're allowing the guest to check in on those datesClick on "Update" to save the information. By doing this, the guest will not be allowed to select December 24-25 as their check out date.
