Roomorama's Cancellation Policies

All Policies have the following standard terms:

  • The Roomorama service fee of 15% is not refundable.
  • Penalty is calculated based on the listing’s local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check in.
  • If there is a complaint from either party, Roomorama should be notified in writing within 24 hours of check-in.
  • If there is a complaint about the unit, guest must give host/RM 6 hours to respond and react to any complaint.
  • If host/guest is not reachable after booking confirmation, or upon check-in, please contact Roomorama so that one of our customer service representatives can assist you. If guests leave without first letting host respond, or making a complaint to Roomorama, they may have to forfeit any kind of recourse.
  • If guest is unsatisfied with property, they must furnish valid reasons and photographic evidence, which cannot be related to anything stated or displayed clearly in the property listing.

 Flexible Policy

    • If booking is cancelled more than 7 days before the check in day, before 3pm, only the Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 2-7 nights before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 1 night’s stay (based on daily rate of the unit) + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the check in day, at/after 3pm local time, 2 nights’ stay (based on daily rate) + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
      • Example: Check In on Nov 15 (3 pm)
      • Canceled before Nov 8 (before 3 pm) – Full refund, minus Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled before Nov 13 (before 3 pm) – 1 night + Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled after Nov 13 (at/after 3 pm) – 2 nights + Roomorama service fee of 15% 

 Moderate Policy

    • If booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the check in day, before 3pm, only the Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 7 - 14 days before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 25% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the check in day, at/after 3pm local time, 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
      • Example: Check In on Nov 15, 2015 (3 pm)
      • Canceled before Nov 1 (before 3 pm) – Full refund, minus Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled before Nov 8 (before 3 pm) – 25% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled after Nov 8 (at/after 3 pm) – 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% 

 Firm Policy

    • If booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 25% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 7 - 14 days before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the check in day, at/after 3pm local time, the full amount will be charged.
      • Example: Check In on Nov 15 (3 pm)
      • Canceled before Nov 1 (before 3 pm) – 25% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled before Nov 8 (before 3 pm) – 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled after Nov 8 (at/after 3 pm) – The full amount will be charged 

 Strict Policy (only for select hosts, please contact us if you wish to qualify)

    • If booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the check in day, at/after 3pm local time, the full amount will be charged.
      • Example: Check In on Nov 15 (3 pm)
      • Canceled before Oct 16 (before 3 pm) – – 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of
      • Canceled after Oct 16 (at/after 3 pm) – The full amount will be charged 

Super Strict Policy (only for select hosts, please contact us if you wish to qualify)

    • If booking is cancelled more than 60 days before the check in day, by 3pm local time, 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15% will be charged.
    • If booking is cancelled 60 days or less before the check in day, at/after 3pm local time, the full amount will be charged.
      • Example: Check In on Nov 15 (3 pm)
      • Canceled before Sep 16 (before 3 pm) – 50% of rental + Roomorama service fee of 15%
      • Canceled after Sep 16 (at/after 3 pm) – The full amount will be charged
